More from Miles Baker...

I recently listened to a podcast where this person advocated for higher pay for horse trainers (which is a topic all on its own to discuss). It got me thinking how money paid for training is directly related to how well a horse can perform certain tasks at the end of a very specific time frame, and that right there is dangerous. Our timelines can (and often do) RUIN a horse. We (my family) have invested a lot over the years in many different horses and it is only until now that I have come to realize that if you slow your program down, your success will speed up, but how you define success is the tricky part. Less is always more. Thank you @milesbaker7 for being an advocate for the horse. It's a shame you don't train for the public anymore, but I don't blame you! 📽 credit to @ropingcom
